Follow the steps
- Please note there are TWO applications in Step One.
- Official transcripts come directly from your school or a transcript service. Have them sent to admissions@faytechcc.edu.
- Choose the school year that you plan to start classes, for example, 2023-2024, for your FTCC application and for your FAFSA (Financial Aid).
Registration Dates
All of your paperwork needs to be processed before you can register and obtain a seat in Cosmetology classes. Please allow several days for processing. Keep in mind that there may not be enough seats for all students who want them.
Registration dates begin:
- Fall: 1st Monday of April
- Spring: 3rd Monday of October
- Summer: 3rd Monday of March

Get into your program of study
A week after you have requested your transcripts, contact Lorena Murray, Success Coach, about getting into your program of study: 910-486-3907 murrayl@faytechcc.edu.
Tell Ms. Murray:
- The program you want.
- Programs eligible for Financial Aid:
- Cosmetology Associate and Diploma,
- Esthetics Certificate,
- Cosmetology Instructor Certificate.
Programs not eligible for Financial Aid: Cosmetology Certificate, Nails Certificate, Natural Hair Care Certificate
- Your student ID#, working phone number (with room in voice mail box) and personal email address
Cosmetology Building
Come to the Cosmetology building on the first day of registration at 8 am to get registered for classes.
Cosmetology Orientation
Be sure to attend Cosmetology Orientation to get needed information on uniform, kit, policies, etc. Watch your student email for the date and time.
Books at our Bookstore
Get your books at our bookstore or https://bookstore.faytechcc.edu/, Textbook Lookup. Or you may visit our Bookstore with your schedule. Financial Aid will allow you to charge your books a week before classes start.
