Softball ended their season this past Wednesday on the road in Henrico, VA. They went into the NJCAA DII Conference Tournament as the no. 12 seed facing off against no. 5 seed Caldwell CC. The first day of the tournament was a play in day to see which teams would make it to the double elimination tournament starting the next day.

The Lady Trojans started off strong in the first. They scored one by an RBI by Wilkes and went 3 up 3 down on defense with two great plays by third baseman, Graham, and right fielder, Ricks.

The Cobras scored 3 in the bottom of the second to take the lead.

Trojans respond in the top of the third to tie the game at 3-3. Reswik drew a lead off walk and Ricks followed with an infield single. Pearsall then loaded the bases with a one out walk. Wilkes followed with her second RBI on the day on a fielders choice. Greeson hits an infield single up the middle to score Ricks to tie the game up.

The Caldwell Cobras get 6 runs in the bottom of the third to take the lead. They add 3 more in the fourth to increase their cushion. With three outs for the Trojans in the top of the fifth, the game ends after five innings, 12-3 Cobras.
