If you’re experiencing login issues with Canvas, try the following steps:

  • Use Full Email for Username: Make sure to use your full student email address (example: supersmj2345@student.faytechcc.edu) as your username when logging in.
  • Avoid Passkeys: Do NOT use passkeys (biometric or saved logins) for Canvas, MFA, or any FTCC associated accounts.
  • Use Private Browsing: Open Canvas in Incognito Mode (Chrome) or Private Browsing (Safari/Firefox/Edge) and try logging in again.
  • Register for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): All students must be registered for MFA to access Canvas.

Does FTCC provide student email accounts?

Yes! Student email provides the official communication conduit between the College and students. This service provides a reliable, practical, secure, feature rich web mail environment with limited banner advertisements.

The primary function of the Student Email System is to provide an official communication channel between FTCC and its students. College departments and instructors will use this account to communicate with you. Make sure you are following the college’s student email standards and proper e-mail etiquette at all times.

NOTE: You must use your FTCC student email address for Canvas course correspondence. All FTCC courses have a Canvas component.
