Students representing FTCC are SkillsUSA national medalists after finishing third in the Interactive Application and Video Game Development.

Aria Ortiz and Campbell Lloyd showcased the FTCC team’s game, which was developed by a six-person team, earning the pair bronze medals at the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference, held in Atlanta on June 23-27.

Ortiz and Lloyd won first place at the state competition in May, earning a chance to compete at the national level.

Teammates Robert Whiting, Erin Hoffman and William Orr joined Ortiz and Lloyd in Atlanta for nationals.

FTCC student William Portillo, who finished first at the state level in Collision Repair Technology, also competed in the national competition.
