What: Mental Health – Stigma: What is it? And Why is it a Problem?

Stigma is when a person is viewed in a negative way just because they have a mental health condition.  Living with a mental health condition can be tough, enough with the negative impact stigma can add.  Learning how to avoid and address stigma is important for all of us. This sessionEast Hub will help us recognize stigma and help stamp it out so that those living with mental health challenges feel free to ask for and receive the treatment and support they deserve.
