What to Expect:

Course Work

Network Administration is a concentration under the Information Technology program. The curriculum prepares students to install, configure, monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot enterprise grade routers and switches as well as Windows client workstations and servers, and manage their operations on a network. Students will develop strong analytical skills and extensive computer knowledge. Course work includes extensive hands-on experience with client and server machines in the Windows environment and configuration of Cisco routers and switches.

Career Paths

Graduates should qualify for employment in business, educational systems, and governmental agencies which rely on Microsoft computer systems to manage information. The program will incorporate the competencies of industry recognized certification exams from Microsoft, Cisco (CCNA), CompTIA, and others.
